Banquets & Catering Request More Banquet Information General Private Party Information
Our private banquet rooms are adjacent to one another with moveable walls between the rooms. You may be placed next to a party that has a speaker or a scheduled program. Your party will receive our famous Angus Barn cheese, crackers, and relishes compliments of the Angus Barn. If a cocktail time is scheduled, they will be placed on a separate table as hors d’oeuvres. If no social is planned, they will be placed directly on your dining table. We also have fabulous baby back ribs ( our baby back ribs are small, tender, juicy ribs- our trademark and customer’s favorite), jumbo shrimp cocktail, North Carolina crabcakes and other Angus Barn signature appetizers available at regular menu prices. Private parties are decorated in the traditional Angus Barn decor of blue and white check tablecloths, red napkins and lanterns. Special decorations, which include special linens, special napkin folds, and candles are available upon request. There is an additional charge for these decorations depending on the size of the banquet room. Your party can be as formal or as informal as you would like.
We can arrange to have a bartender directly in your private banquet room: however, a bartender is required for parties of 25 or more. There are no self-service alcohol bars available. We have a $75.00 per person food and beverage minimum in our private rooms. This price is excluding tax and gratuity. If you do not wish to spend the minimum of $75.00 per person, you may opt to pay a room charge. Payments can be made by cash or charge. (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, or Diners’ Club). We do not accept personal checks. We add 20% gratuity to all private parties. We do require all private parties be one check. 48 hours before your scheduled corporate event or private party, we do require a final attendance count. You will be charged $75.00 plus tax and gratuity per no show, and this is non refundable. If we do not receive your final count within 48 hours, we will plan for the highest guest count that you originally booked. We cannot seat for more than the final count or for more than the room will allow. EXAMPLE: You originally booked a party of 50-60, your final count will be 60. We at the Angus Barn are here to serve you and it is our desire that your private function is an event that will be remembered for a long time. Please do not hesitate to call us for any questions we can answer BAR INFORMATION FOR BANQUETS OR PRIVATE PARTIES Any party of 25 or more must have a bartender if any alcohol other than wine is to be served. There is no charge for the first hour and a $15.00 fee per bartender for each additional hour. Parties under 25 may request a bartender for a fee of $35.00 for the first hour and $15.00 for each additional hour. The set-up of your bar is up to you. You may customize with house brands, premium brands or limit to beer and wine only. Prices are subject to change. PRIVATE LUNCHEONS The Angus Barn is available for private luncheons of 25 guests or more. We ask that your menu be selected in advance.
