Angus Barn House Recipes

ANGUS BARN CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE
1 unbaked pie crust
1 stick of butter
2 squares bakers chocolate (semi-sweet)
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt

Melt butter and chocolate,mis with other ingredients wich have been blended together. Pour into a regular pie shell and bake 35 minutes. (No Longer)at 350° degrees F. Topped with whipped cream.

ANGUS BARN POTATO GRATIN
3lb. Red Bliss Potatoes
1/2lb. Butter
1.5 Cups Bacon
1/2 Cup Bacon Bits
2 eggs (beaten)1/2 Cup Chives
Salt/Pepper To Taste
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese

Boil potatoes in lightly salted water until falling apart tender. Add softened butter, sour cream, bacon bits and chives. Add salt and pepper to taste. Place in baking dish and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350° F until top is browned.

ANGUS BARN ONION SOUP
16 Cups Thinly Sliced Onions
1/3lb. Butter
2 Cans Bulion Soup (46oz.)
2 TSB Maggi Seasoning
2 TSB Worcestershire Sauce
6 Cups Water

Cook onions for 30 minutes in butter. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Put a casserole dish with mozzarella cheese on top and put under broiler and melt.
